Why should we pray scriptural prayer?
Hebrews 4:12 For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (NKJ) When we pray scriptural prayers we hear from God Himself what He says about certain situations and faith is released when we realise that God cannot lie...Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? (NKJ)
2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. (NKJ)
Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." (NKJ)
